Lakefront Retreat — Full Custom Kitchen & Wine Bar
This lakefront property on Lake Muskoka required a kitchen and entertaining space that could handle large family gatherings while blending seamlessly with the cottage’s natural surroundings. We designed a full custom kitchen with a 12-foot island in rift-cut white oak, a dedicated wine bar with walnut open shelving and climate-controlled storage, and a butler’s pantry with concealed appliance housing. All cabinetry was built with moisture-resistant finishes suited to the seasonal lake environment. The client worked directly with Briar Spencer on the design, and fabrication was completed in our Oro-Medonte workshop over 14 weeks.
Heritage Home Transformation — Kitchen, Built-Ins & Millwork
A heritage home in Barrie’s east end needed a complete kitchen renovation plus custom built-ins that respected the home’s original character. We profiled the existing crown moulding and baseboard details, then designed a new kitchen in painted maple with Hafele pull-out organizers and a full-height pantry tower. The living room received a floor-to-ceiling built-in wall unit surrounding the fireplace with integrated display lighting, concealed media storage, and flanking desk alcoves. We also built a mudroom entry system with bench seating, cubbies, and closed upper cabinetry. Paul Dubé oversaw fabrication to ensure every moulding profile matched the original millwork exactly.
Modern Family Home — Whole-Home Cabinetry Package
We partnered with a custom home builder on a new-construction family home in the GTA, supplying cabinetry and millwork for every room. The main kitchen featured flat-panel white oak cabinetry with an integrated appliance wall, waterfall island in honed marble, and a concealed pantry behind pocket doors. Upstairs, we built three custom bathroom vanities — a double floating vanity for the primary ensuite and two single vanities for secondary bathrooms — all with moisture-resistant construction. The scope also included a laundry room with folding counter and pull-out hampers, plus a home office with a built-in desk, filing drawers, and open shelving. The 20-week build was coordinated on schedule with the construction timeline.
